Neda Shoaibi

| Neda Shoaibi, born in Tehran, emigrated to the U.S. in 2002. She received a BA in Fine Arts and Painting from Tehran’s Azad University of Art and Architecture. This is her first solo show in Los Angeles. She works primarily with acrylic on canvas. Her focus is color and form and how they relate to each other; she displays people in action in abstracted forms. Shoaibi sometimes mixes Persian calligraphy with her painting to blend eastereastern and western themes. |
